Sorry no pictures, just a fun story!
Now that Marshel is old enough, Grandma Jackson wanted him to fly out to visit her before the rest of us show up so she could spoil him a little. So, on Monday, July 14th, after an all-day chant of "Is it time to go yet?", we headed off to the airport. Marshel had his suitcase, which he insisted on dragging himself, and his backpack full of goodies and fun stuff to do. Kellee also had a matching set, because she had to do everything the same as Marshel.
After we begged for hugs and kisses, Marshel couldn't wait to get out of here. He headed down the ramp without even so much as a look back. We found out later that once he got on the plane, he missed us. He arrived in Las Vegas where Uncle Jamie picked him up. He was amazed at how grown up Marshel was, walking off the plane by himself, as if he'd been doing this for years.
When they called, Marshel said the plane ride was SO AWESOME! He told of all the drinks they gave him, which resulted in him having to pee, but not until it was too late and the plane was landing, so he had to hold it a long time. I know we've all been there! He loved sitting by the window and just thought the whole experience was cool.
Kellee on the other hand, was so sad. She kept asking when we were going to pick up Marshel. When she talked to him on the phone, she asked if he was going to come home ever. He reminded her that in 9 days, she would be coming to "VISIT" him. She can't wait until next year to go along with him.
To be honest, we can't either. It has been very nice having an only child this week, but having a week with no kids would be even better.

You are brave! I would be a nervous wreck putting Tori on a plane to fly alone. Happy to hear Marshel is having fun though and I'm sure Kellee will be SOOOOO happy to see him when you get to St. George. You should call my parents while there and maybe get to see them. I know they would like to see the kids and you.
I will call them and see if we can find some time to get together, even for a little while. It's going to be pretty crazy with all the stuff I'm trying to cram into 2 weeks, but we'll see what we can do.
