After living here in Texas for almost a year now, we decided it was time to hit the beach. So, we packed up the trailer and headed south. Arriving at midnight in Rockport Beach, we hit the hay pretty quick. The next morning after organizing and having breakfast and a few quick trips to Walmart, we headed for the beach.
Rockport Beach is a great beach for families. The shallow area goes out about 1/4 mile, with small wavelets. We walked forever with the water only going up to about my thighs. Kellee and Marshel loved playing near the edge without their life jackets on.
We found many hermit crabs, saw fish swimming around us, built sand castles and buried the kids in the sand. We spent two days there before heading back home. The kids didn't want to leave, but we promised we'd come back another time. We can't wait to go again.

Tori was so excited to see the pictures of everyone. She said Kellee looks SOOOOOO different! I think this will be great especially if you post regularly. We can't wait to see more pics and come to "texas beach" as Tori put it.
